Coleslaw

Instructions

Finely chop a quarter of a red and white cabbage. Mix it with the grated carrot and apple. Add a handful of raisins and stir in the mayonnaise. You could add chopped toasted hazelnuts too if you like nuts.

This is a great salad to make for a BBQ and goes really well with lasagne when having lots of guests.

 

Ingredients

Provides 6-8 small portions

  • ¼ red cabbage or baby cabbage
  • ¼ white cabbage or baby cabbage
  • 1 red apple
  • 1 large carrot
  • handful raisins
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • chopped toasted hazelnuts (optional)
